MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED - The Heroes Among Us
Watch our pilot episode here.
A Legacy Worth Preserving. Stories Worth Telling.
Mission Accomplished: The Heroes Among Us is a heartfelt, cinematic docuseries that honors the brave men and women who served our country... from the battlefields of WWII to the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Each 30–45 minute episode features an in-depth, personal portrait of a Medal of Honor recipient.
These are not just war stories , they’re human stories. Stories of courage, sacrifice, resilience, and what it truly means to wear the uniform.
Our Mission
We are striving to recapture the meaning of the word: HONOR! To give voice to the heroes among us... the veterans whose legacies shaped our nation and whose sacrifices deserve more than a thank-you.
We’re committed to capturing these stories with authenticity, compassion, and cinematic excellence.
This docuseries will preserve their legacies for future generations, reminding us all that freedom isn't free.
Why This is Important
As a veteran of the United States Coast Guard Reserve, this project is deeply personal to me. I’ve seen the impact of service — and the silence that often follows it. These heroes deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
Many of the returning vets feel alone and are suffering in silence. We hope that our show will let them know that they are not alone and that there are people they can connect with.
— Jeff Dingsor, Executive Producer
To honor these extraordinary heroes, we are inviting select national leaders to open each episode of Mission: Accomplished – The Heroes Among Us with a brief message of respect and gratitude. Their voices will help frame each story as a celebration of service, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of America’s veterans.
Vice President JD Vance — We will invite the Vice President to record a 30–60 second opening that honors each featured veteran (or an evergreen greeting), captured in Washington, DC or remotely to match our Toms River studio look. The request will be submitted via the official White House “Contact the Vice President” channel, and we’ll note our ad-free placement and on-screen compliance line (“official capacity, no endorsement implied”) to keep it apolitical and respectful. We’ll provide a brief of the guest, a pronunciation guide, and offer a transcript for factual checks of names, titles, units, and dates.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth — We will ask the Secretary to deliver a concise 30–60 second introduction saluting the service and character of the episode’s guest, recorded on his schedule in DC or as a matched-look remote read. Our outreach goes through DoD’s centralized media bookings inbox with Defense Press Ops as a follow-up route; we’ll state the ad-free buffer around the appearance and provide a one-page factual brief for verification. As a sitting department head, his segment will run with our standard compliance super and without any adjacent sponsor content.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard — We will invite the DNI to record a 30–60 second opening that recognizes the featured veteran’s service (or an evergreen greeting for use across multiple episodes), with a neutral backdrop and delivery to lens to match our series style. Requests are sent to ODNI Media Relations; we’ll include the guest brief and reaffirm that the intro runs inside an ad-free window with a short “official capacity” disclaimer and optional transcript for factual review. This keeps the moment nonpolitical, accurate, and appropriate for a senior intelligence official.
